The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month 1918 marked the end if World War I; it was ARMISTICE DAY.  The armistice agreement was signed. We now show our respect for the military both the living and the dead who served.  In 1954 it became a day to honor veterans of all wars, and we called it, VETERANS DAY.  I found a couple pictures of Mabel Normand from 1919 while she was working at Samuel Goldwyn Studios in Culver City among those who served.
