Madcap Mabel Normand

30 Have you looked in the Photo Gallery in the Recently Added, to 2009 Silent Stars lately? Tonight we have with us a day at the beach with one of Mabel's funny friends...  http://looking-for-mabel.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=46471027

25  In Reprints is an article from the December 1922 PhotoPlay called Youth and Moonlight and Paris,” Mabel Normand bought some dazzling Paris fashions.

22 I have a few questions about Olive Borden and have found a few answers but am waiting for a biography that will answer a few more.

20  Delores has let me post one of her articles.  It deals with the coming to California by the “Health Hunters.”  Yes, the postcards are from her personal collection. You can find it at the bottom of the short piece I did on what the symptoms & history of TB were when Mabel Normand was dealing with it. http://looking-for-mabel.webs.com/tb.htm

19 I added a photo of Olive Borden to the 2009 Album and thought you might like to see where it started.

17 Mabel dead of tuberculosis, so I add a little general information about TB, it is in Wonderful Things but in truth it isn’t a wonderful thing, just a place to put it. http://looking-for-mabel.webs.com/tb.htm

15 http://looking-for-mabel.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=44460749   I posted a photo of Mabel in the 2009 picture album, plus a few new pictures of others, the best way to see what new images have been added to the recently added in the photo gallery is the easiest way to locate, the new pictures.

13 Back to the Woods was made in 1918 at the Goldwyn Studios at Fort Lee and on location in West Virginia, a new album of pictures, mostly Lobby Cards has been added to the Picture Gallery.  I had used a number of these in a post I did in May 2009 on Herbert Rawlinson (her co-star). http://looking-for-mabel.webs.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=6521541

10  The graphic novel by Rick Geary was reviewed by Bruce Long, it tells the tale of the death of William Desmond Taylor. It is in the Book Review section, it is called Famous Players, yes Mabel is a 'player'.

09  http://william-m-drew.webs.com/miscellany.htm  I just finished helping my friend, William Drew add a page to his site, dealing with "A Killing in Paradise" no not that one, this happened in 1911 not 1922.  The story is told in a series of newspaper articles. I think it works as a way to explain the story, what do you think?

07 Just added more information in the piece on the Girls of 7th Street,,,

05 a $5 solution to a Mabel problem is in Wonderful Things
