A FEW NEW THINGS…

In Off Topic is information on another person on the train with Mabel & Roscoe on the way to New York for New Year in 1915, Elgin Lessley, the cameraman.

John Everton of Malnor Films has posted a film clip of Mabel from 1926 with Lew Cody and Raymond Hitchcock at the Cathay Circle Theater at YouTube and you can find it also in a section called Movies

And one more thing on  the opening page is now a SEARCH of the site using Google.  It will list pretty much everything on a particular subject at Looking-for-Mabel but also will connect with a few "sister sites"; the William Thomas Sherman – Mabel Normand Home Page http://www.angelfire.com/mn/hp/  and the Madcap Mabel site at David Pearson's Slapstick comedy: http://slapstick-comedy.com/Mabel/home.html

If you can’t find it at Looking for Mabel, the search can also look through the web listings. This was also done by John, what a swell fellow, he is!

Who is Ferris Hartman? He was on the train to New York with Mabel and Roscoe, there is a little information at Off Topic about him

In 1922 Mabel set up a Trust Fund for her family, after her death there was a

suit over the $50,000 worth of Bonds in August of 1930, there is an article in Reprints.

In 1916 Mabel made a film as a gift for the front, there is an

 article about it in reprints.

There is more information at the Anna May Wong webpage and in Mabel's Log

UCLA Asian American Studies Center and Chinese American Studies Initiative are sponsoring the U.S. Premiere screening of film documentary, "Anna May Wong ~ Frosted Yellow Willows: Her Life, Times, and Legend".

What fun today someone in Holland came to Looking for Mabel and wanted to read about her cars and a visitor in Rome was interested in Mabel’s Prince.  If you don’t mind, please sign the guestbook, as I would love to know who you are… (and what you are ‘looking for’) Marilyn
