What an interesting man I found hiding in a folder at the Academy Library, his name was ROMAINE FIELDING. He wrote a terrific letter to Edna Vercor in October 1914, which I have posted in“Off Topic” Wow… I would have loved to find something like this from Mabel but just to know that some of the stars of that period had relationships like this with their fan is just wonderful
